From Montevideo (Uruguay) to the world, saxophonist, flutist, and composer Patricia López, travels with a strong musical personality, developing her own sound in jazz, creative music, and Latin American rhythms.

With more than twenty years of training, she completed the Superior Jazz Technique of the "Manuel de Falla" Conservatory (Buenos Aires), participated in many international workshops and residences in Curitiba, Florianopolis, Sao Paulo, New York, and the Netherlands, awarded twice by FONAM and MEC scholarships to study abroad.

In August 2019th, she recorded "Wanderlust", her first album, along with Manuel Ojeda (guitar), Damian Taveira (drums), and Ian Elizondo (double bass). The album was awarded "Best Uruguayan Album 2021" at Graffiti Awards.

This work brings together seven compositions that are characterized by strong group communication, with influences from contemporary jazz and Latin American music. Through textures, harmonies, climates, and sounds, they develop multiple aesthetics, structures of composition, and improvisation.

Desde Montevideo, Uruguay, hacia el mundo, la saxofonista, flautista y compositora Patricia López, viaja con una fuerte personalidad musical, desenvolviendo su propio sonido en el el jazz, la música creativa y los ritmos Latinoamericanos.

Con más de dieciocho años de formación, completó la Tecnicatura Superior de Jazz del Conservatorio "Manuel de Falla" (Buenos Aires), participó en diversos workshops y residencias internacionales en Curitiba, Florianópolis, San Pablo, Nueva York y Holanda, y fue becada dos veces por el FONAM y el MEC para realizar estudios especiales en el exterior.

En Agosto de 2019 grabó "Wanderlust", su primer disco, junto a Manuel Ojeda (guitarra), Damián Taveira (batería) e Ian Elizondo (contrabajo) y en 2021 fue elegido como "Mejor ábum de jazz" por los Premios Graffiti.

Este trabajo reúne siete composiciones que se caracterizan por una fuerte comunicación grupal, con influencias de jazz contemporáneo y música Latinoamericana. A través de texturas, armonías, climas y sonidos, desarrollan múltiples estéticas, estructuras de composición e improvisación.
